Graphic Designer At Outdoor Norway

Location: Remote
Start date: April/May 2026
Contract: 6-month remote work contract with the potential for a permanent position based on performance.
Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging graphics for web, social media, marketing materials, and branding.
- Develop illustrations, icons, and visual elements aligned with brand identity.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to create high-impact visuals.
- Create mockups, wireframes, and UI/UX elements for digital projects.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to keep our visuals fresh.
- Optimize graphics for different platforms (mobile, desktop, print, etc.).
- Work with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Ensure all designs are pixel-perfect, on-brand, and engaging.
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas, Test graphics across various media, Amend designs after feedback
Requirements and skills: -
- Proven 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.).
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Experience in social media graphics, branding, and digital marketing assets.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and web design best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
- Understanding of print design (optional but a bonus).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
